Meet Faith: From Administrator to 5-Star Customer Service

 

Faith is a recent apprenticeship completer of our L3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship at Advantage Finance. She is the perfect example of an exemplary apprentice, going above and beyond to achieve impressive feats in such a short space of time.

Faith has excelled as both an Administrator and providing Customer Service

Faith, the proud owner of 2 dogs named Sonny and Nelly, had been at college but was not enjoying her time there and decided that an apprenticeship would be a better fit, as she wanted to learn on the job rather than being confined to a classroom.

Initially, Faith honed her skills providing administrative support to the Customer Services department, soaking up knowledge like a sponge. But it wasn’t long before her talents caught the attention of her manager and she was offered an opportunity to join the Dispute Resolutions team. This move allowed Faith to take the reins and manage her own workload, showcasing her meticulous attention to detail, unwavering focus, and exceptional phone manner.

One of the highlights of Faith’s apprenticeship was the chance to connect with like-minded individuals who were also on the apprenticeship journey. Faith also enjoys being pushed and loves a challenge, it helped her create some very impressive work with this strong work ethic.

Faith has secured permanent employment working as a Dispute Resolutions Manager. Her responsibilities now entail managing satisfactory quality complaints for vehicle faults. This involves investigating complaints and providing final responses, liaising with customers, brokers and dealerships. In addition, Faith also handles complaints received through the financial ombudsman, crafting well-written responses.

Faith’s growth during the apprenticeship has been truly remarkable, her particular strength now is her ability to speak to stakeholders. She exudes confidence and professionalism effortlessly. With two distinctions and one pass under her belt, Faith’s belief in herself has skyrocketed.

The advice Faith would give to others thinking of doing an apprenticeship is “Do it! You will gain the useful working life skills that will continue throughout your career, if you are like me and have struggled or are currently struggling with college then an apprenticeship may be for you. You learn several skills whilst working and adapting to a full time role but also gain the skills throughout your apprenticeship that help you develop your knowledge immensely.”
