Construction Administration Apprentice

This Construction Administration Apprentice role with Hobson & Porter will be ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming invoices, checking against orders/price lists and/or delivery notes
  • Enter invoices onto accounts system – 1000+ each month
  • Query discrepancies with supplier; request credit notes if required
  • Reconcile supplier statements for month end and process
  • Process and issue cheques/BACS payments
  • Issue monthly costing reports
  • Maintain and archive accounts records into the back stores annually
  • Provide cover for Subcontract accounts – Cover Louise’s role including keeping subcontract records up to date and processing payments
  • Maintaining fuel accounts and records
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Greeting visitors
  • Dealing with post
  • Sending and replying to emails
  • Managing registers – signing in/telephone lists
  • Managing meeting room bookings
  • Dalux printing for all major works sites
  • Major works/Minor works site packages
  • Stationery orders, managing stock levels
