Construction Administration Apprentice
This Construction Administration Apprentice role with Hobson & Porter will be ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices, checking against orders/price lists and/or delivery notes
- Enter invoices onto accounts system – 1000+ each month
- Query discrepancies with supplier; request credit notes if required
- Reconcile supplier statements for month end and process
- Process and issue cheques/BACS payments
- Issue monthly costing reports
- Maintain and archive accounts records into the back stores annually
- Provide cover for Subcontract accounts – Cover Louise’s role including keeping subcontract records up to date and processing payments
- Maintaining fuel accounts and records
- Answering telephone calls
- Greeting visitors
- Dealing with post
- Sending and replying to emails
- Managing registers – signing in/telephone lists
- Managing meeting room bookings
- Dalux printing for all major works sites
- Major works/Minor works site packages
- Stationery orders, managing stock levels
