Zenith Developments Group is looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Admin Apprentice to join their well-established construction business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone efficiently in a professional and timely manner
  • Process invoices and issue them for approval using Sage 50
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Take accurate messages and pass them on to the relevant person
  • Distribute incoming mail and assist visitors
  • Send and receive information electronically where required
  • Prepare and produce a variety of documents for internal and external use
  • Maintain and manage filing systems and records
  • Arrange meetings and events, including organising catering and materials
  • Develop and maintain administration systems
  • Support colleagues with information gathering tasks
  • Carry out general administrative duties such as minute-taking, photocopying, filing, and archiving
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness in reception and communal areas
  • Provide office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Keep organised files and records of business activity
  • Communicate effectively with managers and supervisors, resolving issues promptly
  • Support site teams with purchasing and administrative requests
  • Assist in the tendering process, including liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Collate Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals to support project completion

Skills & Knowledge

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Ambitious, confident, and hard-working attitude
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Positive and professional approach to work
