Developing Assertiveness

I have gained a good understanding about what it is like to work in an office workplace and how my attitude and motivation can affect the work that I am doing. It helped my settle into my workplace as I already knew a lot of the things I have started doing and I was a lot more comfortable in starting in an office-based environment from it.

I joined Hull Business Training Centre’s Employability course in 2024. My time on the course was great and the staff were super helpful and supportive. Dorian who taught the course was an excellent teacher and I am grateful for their support during the duration of the course which allowed me to pass with flying colours and their continued support as I started applying for apprenticeships.
Mackauly and Mya from the recruitment team have also been a great source of help and support in my endeavour to gaining an apprenticeship. They made the application and interview process much less stressful which was greatly appreciated. This has now paid off as I have been accepted for a teaching assistant apprenticeship.
