Meet the Staff: Lydia
Meet Lydia, the newest member of the team here at HBTC. Lydia started at the start of January this year and in the short space of time of which she has been here has brought a positive and confident attitude towards work.
In this article, you will get to know her better and discover what items she would bring to a desert island.
What is your job title and what are your responsibilities?
I am a Receptionist/Admin Apprentice. I deal with enquiries, room bookings, answering phone calls, recording attendance and admin tasks.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy being on the front desk and therefore seeing new faces and greeting new people. Everyone makes it a friendly environment to work in.

What is your favourite UK city and why?
I really like London because there is lots to do, good food places and lots of places to go shopping.
What was your favourite subject at school and why?
English was my favourite subject because it was one of my best subjects and I enjoyed the freedom to write what I wanted.
What is your favourite film?
Home alone- has to be the first one though!
How do you relax after a day at work?
Chill out time at home, watching TV, going on my phone and talking to people.
If you got stranded on a desert island, what 3 items would you want with you?
My phone, a sun lounger to make the most of the sunshine and a big bottle of water
