IT Projects Administrator Apprentice

Advantage Finance LTD is looking for an IT Projects Administrator Apprentice to join their forward-thinking organisation that continually invests in its people, helping employees grow both personally and professionally.
As an IT Projects Administrator Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Project Manager and wider business teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. This is a practical, fast-paced role where you’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day project coordination, timelines, and action tracking
- Preparing meeting agendas, capturing accurate minutes, and following up on actions
- Helping maintain project documentation, logs, reports, and status updates
- Assisting with project plans, governance processes, and stakeholder communications
- Working with teams across Operations, IT, Compliance, Risk, and other departments
- Ensuring documents and project assets are organised, accurate, and up to date
- Contributing ideas to improve how they deliver and manage projects
Skills & Knowledge
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail with a structured approach to work
- Ability to build positive relationships and work well as part of a team
Desirable:
- Interest in project management or business change as a career path
- Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com, Planner, or other project software
- Experience producing reports, presentations, or structured written work
