Key Responsibilities
- Execute on-page optimisations across Green Ginger’s SEO client portfolio.
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality editorial, e-commerce, and blog content.
- Implement changes in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes.
- Support the wider team with performance communication, confidently in both written and verbal forms.
- Assist in creating content marketing plans and monthly reports aligned with client goals and KPIs, ensuring timely execution and acute attention to detail.
- Monitor and analyse organic search performance data to identify issues and opportunities relevant to client objectives.
- Proactively escalate performance challenges with a solution-based approach.
- Conduct research into competitor activity and trending insights using industry tools such as AHRefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, and Keyword Planner.
- Stay updated on the latest search engine guidelines, news, trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure ongoing SEO best practices at Green Ginger Digital.
- Suggest new ideas to improve rankings and identify new keyword opportunities to enhance SEO traffic for clients.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and support as required for the business.
Skills & Knowledge
- A 6 or higher equivalent in GCSE English with a keen interest in writing and language.
- An analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of articulating changes in data.
- Computer literate, able to learn new platforms and technologies quickly with guidance.
- Organised and able to work to deadlines.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, forward thinker, unafraid to share ideas and think differently.
