CarSupermarket.com is looking for a Buying Support Administrator Apprentice to join their growing team in Hull.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a busy automotive business, giving you real insight into how vehicle operations work behind the scenes while building valuable skills for your future career. You’ll support the Buying Support team with essential admin tasks that keep vehicles moving efficiently from purchase through to sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Buying Support team in the day-to-day running of the department
  • Carry out duties in a safe, organised and professional manner
  • Follow company policies, processes and standards at all times
  • Prioritise administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reduce delays
  • Provide support to the Team Leader and wider team when required
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards learning and development
  • Assist with vehicle stock administration, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Support with adding vehicles onto internal systems
  • Check and process vehicle documentation, invoices and paperwork accurately
  • Chase missing documents and information from suppliers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records, including key details and status updates
  • Support with data entry, reporting and general administration
  • Identify discrepancies or missing information and escalate when needed
  • Learn and follow processes for supplier paperwork, stock movements and updates
  • Develop an understanding of the automotive retail journey from purchase to sale
  • Build confidence using company systems and tools
  • Work closely with internal teams including Buying Support, Pricing, Advertising and Stock/Inventory
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers
  • Provide updates on outstanding paperwork or issues affecting vehicle readiness
  • Ask questions and seek guidance when needed
  • Build strong working relationships across the business
  • Support colleagues with workload and daily administration tasks
  • Be open to feedback, coaching and ongoing training
  • Contribute positively to team development and share learning
  • Show flexibility and willingness to support different areas as skills grow
