Business & Personnel Administrator Apprentice
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Business & Personnel Administrator Apprentice at WCM National Limited!
Learn the ropes of business administration, customer service, and team coordination, all while working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Admin qualification and building a long-term future with WCM.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers, engineers, and suppliers.
- Log service calls and maintenance requests accurately into the system.
- Provide updates to customers on the progress of their service requests.
- Liaise with engineers to coordinate call-outs, repairs, and follow-ups.
- Assist with scheduling planned maintenance visits.
- Update and maintain service records and job sheets.
- File and organise both digital and physical documentation.
- Assist with generating invoices and processing purchase orders.
- Input data accurately into CRM and job management systems.
- Support with stock control and ordering parts when required.
- Learn how to manage engineer diaries and route planning efficiently.
- Support colleagues with ad-hoc admin tasks and small projects.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Shadow different departments to gain a full understanding of the business.
- Complete all coursework and assessments on time.
- Apply learned skills directly in a professional environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- A genuine interest in starting a career in business administration.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
