An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Business & Personnel Administrator Apprentice at WCM National Limited!

Learn the ropes of business administration, customer service, and team coordination, all while working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Admin qualification and building a long-term future with WCM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and emails from customers, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Log service calls and maintenance requests accurately into the system.
  • Provide updates to customers on the progress of their service requests.
  • Liaise with engineers to coordinate call-outs, repairs, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with scheduling planned maintenance visits.
  • Update and maintain service records and job sheets.
  • File and organise both digital and physical documentation.
  • Assist with generating invoices and processing purchase orders.
  • Input data accurately into CRM and job management systems.
  • Support with stock control and ordering parts when required.
  • Learn how to manage engineer diaries and route planning efficiently.
  • Support colleagues with ad-hoc admin tasks and small projects.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Shadow different departments to gain a full understanding of the business.
  • Complete all coursework and assessments on time.
  • Apply learned skills directly in a professional environment.

Skills & Knowledge

  • A genuine interest in starting a career in business administration.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
  • A positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
