Business Admin & Customer Service Apprentice
Are you friendly, approachable and keen to develop a career in admin and customer service? Elliott Hygiene is looking for a Business Admin & Customer Service Apprentice to join their team in Hull!
This apprenticeship is a varied, hands-on role combining business administration and customer service. You’ll gain real experience working with a loyal customer base who know Elliott Hygiene well, many of whom bring personality and humour to your day.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers
- Processing orders (mainly via email and their e-commerce system)
- Learning and understanding their full product range
- Creating internal documents, including delivery and collection notes
- Managing emails, including shared customer support inboxes
- Responding to customer enquiries with team support
- Communicating with customers via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other channels
- Storing and retrieving documents using cloud-based systems (Google Docs, spreadsheets, email)
- Using modern office equipment (multi-screen setups, printers, scanners)
- Handling internal and external queries
- Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks
- Building knowledge of customer accounts, pricing, and products
Each day is fast-paced and varied; it goes quickly, and you’ll always have something new to learn.
