Alexis Filters is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Business Admin Apprentice. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the business. At Alexis Filters, you won’t just observe, you’ll contribute from day one and build the foundations for a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Office Support

  • General administrative duties, including filing, document handling, and data entry
  • Supporting the wider team with daily operational tasks
  • Maintaining accurate records across systems and documents

Purchase Ledger & Supplier Administration

  • Posting supplier invoices (stock and non-stock items)
  • Supporting reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Managing administrative aspects of supplier accounts

Purchasing Support

  • Assisting with raising and processing purchase orders
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure stock availability for customer orders
  • Supporting stock administration and order tracking

Returns & Process Administration

  • Handling administrative aspects of customer returns
  • Processing credits and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting internal processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Wider Business Support

  • Assisting with office supplies, warehouse consumables, and general business needs
  • Supporting communication between departments (customer service, warehouse, purchasing)
  • Providing general support across the business wherever required

Skills & Knowledge

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn – Alexis Filters is looking for someone who wants to build a career
  • Reliability and punctuality – essential in a small, supportive team
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when handling data and invoices
  • Good communication skills – clear and professional with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
  • Organisation and time management – able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Basic IT skills – comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and learning new systems (e.g., Sage, CRM)
  • Willingness to take responsibility and grow in confidence over time
  • Interest in business operations and how different departments work together
