Apprentice Recruiter
Boston Energy Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Recruiter to join their talent team. As an Apprentice Recruiter, you will play a key role in supporting the business’s recruitment operations, ensuring candidates are efficiently managed, accurately recorded, and engaged throughout the hiring process. You will work closely with the recruitment team and internal stakeholders, gaining valuable industry knowledge and experience in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify, track, and input candidate certifications, qualifications, and compliance documents within their CRM.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
- Liaise with candidates to collect outstanding documents and ensure compliance.
- Format CVs to meet internal and client-specific standards.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and professionalism across all candidate profiles.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
- Support the recruitment team by processing candidate documents promptly.
- Generate reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Manage the Recruitment Shared Inbox, responding to candidate queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to understand role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
- Provide regular updates and highlight any issues related to candidate documentation.
- Assist in identifying suitable candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and internal databases.
- Conduct initial outreach to potential candidates and support ongoing engagement.
- Maintain and update talent pools for key roles and regions.
- Help keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment journey.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share candidate updates, vacancy progress, and potential challenges.
- Collect and report market insights on industry rates, per diems, and competitor activity to inform commercial and business strategy.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in recruitment
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT proficiency, including use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
