Apprentice Accounts Assistant
MyPad is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join its fun and friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to begin a career in accounts while learning valuable skills in a supportive and engaging environment. The successful candidate will be part of a busy office, working with a variety of people and gaining hands-on experience in property accounts.
Key Responsibilities
The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will support the accounts team with a range of duties, including:
- Answering phone calls and assisting tenants and landlords with account queries
- Chasing rent arrears and liaising with tenants about payments
- Updating landlords on rent and account information
- Logging tenant deposits on the DPS (Deposit Protection Service)
- Assisting with general administrative and office tasks as required.
Skills & Knowledge
MyPad is looking for someone who is eager to learn, well-organised, and has a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- GCSE Maths at Grade 6 or above
- GCSEs at Grade 5 or above in other subjects
- A confident and friendly telephone manner
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
