Admin Assistant
Due to continued growth and expansion, this plumbing and heating company in Hull is looking for a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to join their operations team.
As an Admin Assistant, you will report directly to the Operations Director and will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent service delivery to clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Handle inbound calls and emails, responding in a professional and timely manner
- Liaise with customers, providing updates on job progress and status
- Log client requests and call-outs on the CAFM system
- Maintain accurate system records with updates from all stakeholders
- Plan and monitor engineers’ schedules and workloads
- Carry out general helpdesk administrative duties
- Generate and issue purchase orders
- Produce and distribute client reports
- Monitor operational KPIs to support SLA performance
Skills & Knowledge
- Previous experience in an administrative or service-based role will be beneficial, ideally within the service industry
- Experience in building maintenance or a similar industry is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent telephone manner and strong attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills, with accurate spelling and grammar
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented approach with a proactive attitude
