Advantage Finance Ltd is expanding, and they are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and committed Accounts Admin Apprentice to join their friendly accounts team in Grimsby. Key Responsibilities
- Completing daily CHAPS payments
- Applying customer payments to accounts
- Reconciling company bank accounts
- Analysing daily banking
- Applying and processing daily charges
- Completing purchase ledger tasks
- Paying invoices
- Monitoring stationery supplies
- Booking hotels/trains when needed
- Processing direct debit claims through BACS
- Reconciling petty cash
- Assisting with the month-end
- Processing settlements
- Financial analysis using Excel
- Dealing with emails and account enquiries
Skills & Knowledge
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (face-to-face, email and phone)
- Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A team player who enjoys problem-solving and supporting others
