When Meg joined Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Mind as a Marketing and Communications Assistant Apprentice, she knew she was stepping into a role that would not only challenge her but also allow her to make a long-lasting impact on a cause close to her heart.

Having received support from the organisation during her own mental health struggles at 16, Meg felt a deep connection to their mission of raising awareness and supporting mental well-being.

Meg embarked on her career through an apprenticeship that has been instrumental in shaping both her professional skills and personal outlook. Diving into the world of digital marketing and communications, she has gained invaluable hands-on experience in managing email campaigns, creating captivating social media content, and utilising analytics to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. This experience has not only boosted her confidence but also equipped her with the capability to drive real engagement.
