IT Engineer
A well-established and growing Managed Service Provider is looking for an IT Engineer to join its technical support team.
Supporting a wide range of business clients, this role is ideal for someone with commercial IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Working across multiple client systems and technologies, you’ll provide first-line and some second-line support while developing your technical knowledge alongside experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing IT support to a varied client base within an MSP environment
- Responding to incidents and service requests via ticketing systems, phone, and email
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and user administration
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and system checks
- Assisting with customer IT projects and installations
- Monitoring alerts and escalating complex issues where required
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates
- Visiting client sites occasionally for support and project work
Skills & Knowledge
Essential
- Around 1 year of commercial IT support experience
- Previous experience within an MSP or multi-client environment
- Experience working with ticketing systems and SLAs
- Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure / Entra ID
- Basic networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Exposure to VoIP systems such as 3CX
- Experience with RMM tools, PSA systems, backup solutions, or endpoint security platforms
- Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA or Microsoft certifications

Wage: From £24,785 per annum, dependent on experience
