Service Administrator
Due to continued growth and expansion, this plumbing and heating company in Hull is looking for a proactive and organised Service Administrator to join their operations team.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of services, acting as a central point of contact for customers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors. This is a varied and fast-paced position that would suit someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a professional telephone manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to clients, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors
- Handling inbound calls and emails from customers and colleagues
- Logging service requests and call-outs onto the company management system
- Liaising with customers and providing timely updates on job progress
- Updating operational systems with information received from engineers and suppliers
- Scheduling and monitoring engineers’ workloads
- Producing and issuing client reports
- Generating purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting general helpdesk administration activities
- Monitoring operational performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs)
Skills & Knowledge
- Previous experience working in a service / administrative environment will be beneficial, ideally within the service industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with good spelling and grammar
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Wage: From 28k per year, depending on experience
