Import/Export Administrator
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Import/Export Administrator to join a busy and professional office team.
This varied role would suit someone who is organised, motivated, and looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced administrative environment. The successful candidate will provide support across multiple areas of the business and play an important part in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support across departments
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and updating internal systems
- Processing and inputting data with a high level of accuracy
- Answering telephone calls and taking clear, accurate messages
- Handling and responding to company emails professionally
- Organising and filing documents both electronically and manually
- Supporting with meeting organisation and administration tasks
- Assisting with compliance checks and maintaining company records
- Managing incoming post and distributing documents where required
Skills & Knowledge
- Confident using computers and IT systems, with Microsoft Office knowledge
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good punctuality and time management skills
- Able to prioritise workload and adapt to changing demands when required
- Capable of working independently and using initiative confidently
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks completed
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic approach to work
- Motivated to learn, develop, and contribute positively to the team
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Flexible attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically when challenges arise
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is essential
