An excellent opportunity has become available for an Import/Export Administrator to join a busy and professional office team.

This varied role would suit someone who is organised, motivated, and looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced administrative environment. The successful candidate will provide support across multiple areas of the business and play an important part in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing general administrative support across departments
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and updating internal systems
  • Processing and inputting data with a high level of accuracy
  • Answering telephone calls and taking clear, accurate messages
  • Handling and responding to company emails professionally
  • Organising and filing documents both electronically and manually
  • Supporting with meeting organisation and administration tasks
  • Assisting with compliance checks and maintaining company records
  • Managing incoming post and distributing documents where required

Skills & Knowledge

  • Confident using computers and IT systems, with Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good punctuality and time management skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and adapt to changing demands when required
  • Capable of working independently and using initiative confidently
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks completed
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Friendly, professional, and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Motivated to learn, develop, and contribute positively to the team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically when challenges arise
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is essential
