IT Support Apprentice
Ability IT is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and wants to begin a career in IT support while gaining hands-on experience and industry knowledge. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting clients and internal systems while developing practical skills across a wide range of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to helpdesk queries via phone, email, or a ticketing system
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams (2nd/3rd line) when required
- Assisting with setting up and configuring new IT equipment such as PCs, printers, and routers
- Applying software updates and security patches to systems
- Monitoring antivirus systems and backup processes
- Helping users understand and effectively use software tools
- Setting up new user accounts and managing permissions (e.g., Active Directory and Microsoft 365)
