Celebrating Excellence with HBTC’s First-Ever Apprentice of the Year Awards
2024 marks an exciting milestone for us at HBTC as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. To commemorate this, we introduced our first-ever Apprentice of the Year Awards, a platform to recognise and honour the dedication, hard work, and impact our apprentices are having on their workplaces.
A Celebration of Talent and Dedication
We were overwhelmed with the response, receiving 30 nominations across various fields such as business administration, IT, customer service, and digital marketing. The quality of all nominations was nothing short of excellent, making the selection process both challenging and inspiring. It was indeed a tough decision, but after much discussion, we were proud to announce our Apprentice of the Year shortlisted candidates:
- Connor Watson – Digital Application Technician – MKM
“There hasn’t been a task that Connor has been given that hasn’t added real value to MKM.”
- Mitchell Skelton – Digital Marketer – HETA
“Mitchell has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, rallying his peers and colleagues around common goals and objectives.”
- Lauren Gaze – Digital Marketer – Trans 2 Performance
“Lauren is a truly valued member of the T2 Team and we would be lost without her.”
These individuals stood out for their commitment, innovation, and the positive changes they have brought to their respective organisations.
Announcing Our Winner
With such strong competition, we are delighted to announce that the title of HBTC’s first-ever Apprentice of the Year goes to Connor Watson from MKM. Connor’s exceptional dedication and performance have earned him this prestigious title, along with a £100 Amazon voucher.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the enthusiasm and quality of participation in our inaugural awards. The hard work our apprentices are putting in is truly commendable, and it’s heartening to see the significant impact they are making in their workplaces.
