ICT Apprentice
Andrew Jackson Solicitors, a modern and professional law firm based at Hull Marina, is looking for an enthusiastic ICT Apprentice to join its friendly and driven IT team.
This opportunity is the perfect chance to develop practical IT skills and learn from experienced team members in a supportive working environment. You’ll play an important role in helping the firm run smoothly by supporting colleagues with their day-to-day IT needs.
Key Responsibilities
As an ICT Apprentice, you’ll work alongside the senior members of the IT team, learning how to support and maintain the firm’s IT systems and network.
- IT Helpdesk Support: Logging support tickets and responding to telephone calls and emails from staff who need IT assistance.
- Technical Support: Helping colleagues troubleshoot technical issues and providing support with their IT queries.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance of PCs, laptops, and multifunction devices (MFDs).
- Software Maintenance: Supporting software updates and helping to keep applications running smoothly.
- Network Support: Assisting the team with the day-to-day running and support of the firm’s corporate network.
- Equipment and Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels of IT equipment and consumables, including printer toner.
- Meeting Room Set-up: Preparing meeting rooms with the necessary IT equipment to ensure everything is ready to use.
Skills & Knowledge
