The deadline for employers to claim the £3000 apprenticeship incentive for recruiting new apprentices has been extended. The original deadline has been extended from May 15th to May 20th.

Employers can claim this incentive for apprentices whose employment started between 1st October 2021 and 31st January 2022. The incentive was introduced by Chancellor Rishi Sunak, to boost apprenticeships starts during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We advise all eligible employers to ensure they get their applications in before the deadline. If you would like any further guidance regarding funding and incentives or discuss how to recruit an apprentice, please get in touch on 01482 211714.
