Accounts Apprentice
Drive Motor Retail, a thriving car dealership spanning the UK, is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an accounts apprentice.
As an Accounts Apprentice, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals of accounting and finance within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and data entry.
- Supporting the finance team with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Learning to use accounting software and Microsoft Excel for basic financial analysis.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Developing an understanding of dealership accounting practices, company policies, and relevant industry regulations.
- Supporting ad hoc finance projects and other duties as required.
Skills & Knowledge

- You’ll ideally have:
- Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An interest in developing a career in accounting or finance, particularly within the automotive industry.
