Purchasing Officer (non apprenticeship)
The successful Purchasing Officer will work within our busy Purchasing Department and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Sending enquiries to potential suppliers
- Placing purchase orders
- Sending progress requests and updating the IT system with confirmed delivery dates
- Building relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues to ensure good customer service
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic academic achievement in core skills are required
- Maths and English qualifications preferred
- good Communication skills are essential
