This vacancy for a Projects Technician Apprentice with ESP Systex is an ideal opportunity for someone with a technical mind to start their career and learn from a team of industry experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical expertise in all systems, databases and services operated by the Bureau Production Department
  • Creating/updating artwork
  • Software set up and configuration
  • Work with Production and other departments to prioritise and schedule work to meet commercial commitments.
  • Gatekeeping between bureau and systems/suppliers. This is to ensure that appropriate solutions meeting requirements is delivered to the Bureau in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to set up functions and data to correctly process information.
  • Problem/issue resolution
    • Analysis of information.
    • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
    • Identifying root cause(s) by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
    • Evaluate the evidence and develop optimal solutions/resolutions to solve the problem/issue.
  • Documenting and auditing of implementation activities.
  • Champion for quality and standardised production bureau processes
  • Advisory capacity in design and development process to ensure best practice
  • Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates – by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.
  • Attending all relevant meetings to ensure adequate communications of future requirements within in Production and with other departments.
